A hands-on session using Self-Perception of Aging (SPA) as an entry point to co-design Indian Knowledge System (IKS) inspired well-being toolkits across digital, tangible, and hybrid media.
How can SPA, culture and spirituality, and equitable AI be translated into interactive tools for well-being? Building on research with older adults in India and a working SPA reflection app, we will experience Indian Knowledge System (IKS) inspired guidance and materialize it into design concepts and low-fi toolkits.
HCI researchers and designers, gerontechnologists, social scientists, and practitioners interested in aging, culture, spirituality, and equitable AI. Students and early-career folks are welcome. No prior IKS knowledge required.
We’ll prioritize a mix of perspectives. You’ll receive a confirmation email if you’re in the first 20, or a waitlist note otherwise.
Limited to 20 participants.
